Severe storms, even a tornado, came through our service area last night and again early this morning.  Strong winds, lightning strikes, and high waters have caused numerous outages. The damage has been widespread over our twenty-three counties. At the height of the storm, the outages numbered approximately 8,000 members.

Operations personnel began restoration work shortly after midnight and efforts continue. Our workforce has grown temporarily with the help of crews from Frontier Power, located in Coshocton, OH., Guernsey-Muskingum, located in New Concord, OH and Nolin RECC, located in Elizabethtown.

Currently, we have 144 different outages, affecting 3,343 members. You can use our Outage Viewer for real time outage information.

Crews will work around the clock until all power is restored. Updates will be shared periodically in our newsroom and social media outlets.

We continue to urge all members to stay away from down power lines.
