We are making our first long-distance trip in our all-electric Chevy Bolt tomorrow. Our destination is St. Louis and WAZE mapping says the distance to the first vehicle charger once we get past Louisville is 238 miles....which is the exact projected range of our car battery charge.
Do we charge before we get past Louisville (even though we will have only gone about 60 miles) or do we chance it and try to make it to the charger?
We will let you know what we decided after we arrive at our destination.
