Blue Grass Energy invites its members to the 2018 Annual Meeting on Thursday, June 7 at the Keeneland Entertainment Center.

Registration is 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and the business meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. The entrance to the Keeneland Entertainment Center is directly across from Man O’ War Boulevard and Blue Grass Airport, at 4201 Versailles Road in Lexington.

At the business meeting, co-op officials will review the 2017 business operations, and members will also hear about issues affecting the electric co-op industry today.

After the business meeting, ten area high school graduates will be honored as Blue Grass Energy’s 2018 scholarship recipients.

Before the business meeting, members can enjoy a free picnic-style meal that includes pulled pork sandwiches. Afterwards, they can visit informational exhibits or bid on the silent auction items benefiting the American Cancer Society.

A children’s area with inflatables and caricaturists will be available beginning at 4:30 p.m. BINGO will begin at 5:00 p.m. under the big tent where up to $1,000 in prizes will be awarded.

Members can also enter for other prizes. The grand prize is a $1,000 VISA card. In addition to these prizes, each registered membership will receive a free bucket with LED bulbs.
