Blue Grass Energy Awards Scholarships to Ten Local Students
Blue Grass Energy is pleased to announce the winners of its 2026 scholarship program. This year, the cooperative awarded ten $1,500 scholarships to graduating high school seniors across its service area.
Scholarships were awarded through a random drawing from over 200 applications. All recipients are enrolled in some form of higher education, including universities, colleges, or technical schools.
The 2026 Blue Grass Energy Scholarship recipients are:
- Jack Midden – Cynthiana
- Reese Blackerby – Nicholasville
- McKenna Jackson – Paris
- Ryan Garrett Womack – Lawrenceburg
- Nichele Spellecy – Richmond
- Ethan Tacket – Berea
- Neala Shook – Georgetown
- Aryonna Clark – Lawrenceburg
- John Austin Snapp – Paris
- Mahek Patel – Georgetown
